Sept ans après la parution de mon premier album "Piano B", je vous offre ce EP de 4 titres, "Leitmotiv". Musique instrumentale au piano, empreinte à la fois de nostalgie et d'optimisme.

Dès mon jeune âge, je me suis découvert une passion pour la musique et le cinéma, particulièrement pour les partitions au piano qu'on pouvait entendre dans les films européens et américains allant des années 70 aux années 90. J'ai toujours été touché par les thèmes et les phrases mélodiques qui étaient utilisés comme des "leitmotiv", des passages musicaux récurrents rappelant une émotion associée à un personnage ou un événement spécifiques dans un film. D'où le choix du mot "Leitmotiv" comme titre de ce deuxième album.

ENGLISH:

Seven years after the release of my first album "Piano B", I present to you my new 4-track EP, "Leitmotiv." Instrumental piano music with touches of nostalgia and optimism.

At a very young age, I discovered a passion for both music and cinema, especially for piano scores that could be heard in European and American films from the 70s to the 90s. I have always been touched by melodic themes and phrases that were used as a recurring "leitmotiv" for specific characters or events in a film. Thus the use of the word "Leitmotiv" as the title of this second release.
